It has been a while. My laziness has been winning.I am yet to publish the other parts to my last post. Believe it or not, it is in my drafts.
I had to come here and ask because for me, when I hear something more than twice from different sources, God wants me to pay attention. For the last couple of weeks, random people (OUTSIDE OF CHURCH) have been talking to me about forgiveness. It just seems to pop up. I cannot get away from it. I stress this happening outside of Church because it is supposed to happen in Church.
As a Christian, someone who believes in Jesus, He said, “forgive or my Father will not forgive you”. (Matthew 6:14) Pretty simple right?! Yes. Yet, no. Jesus also said the other sin that is unforgiveable is grieving the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 12:31-32).
If I say I am Christian, I have to forgive.
You want to let it go, you wish this person well (genuinely). Yet, when you remember the offending act, you get angry.
What can you do to actively forgive and let wrong doing go?
After a person has prayed, for the person and for themselves, they have done all they know to do and yet, they cannot forgive?
What can they do?
Have you ever been in a position where you struggled to forgive? How did you resolve it?
