You cannot give up now…

I don’t know where you are at this time in your life or what you may be thinking about today that may be causing you to despair or lose hope. I would like to encourage you to keep going. Do not give up on that dream, that idea, that purpose-task or even your walk with God.

Yes, life can be really difficult sometimes and instead of things getting better, they seem to be getting progressively worse. It would be so easy to just give up and walk away. Instead, I say, pause rest and get back up again. Life is all about seasons. Please, turn your eyes from the cause of your sadness and pain to the very Source of hope.

Try again. Pray again. Give it one more chance. Just one more. You never know. This might be the one try that could change everything – the one swing that will cause the wall to fall. God is still in control and He loves you very much – He always will. I will like to leave you with the lyrics to a song I was reminded about today by Mary Mary. I found it comforting, I pray it comforts you too…

There will be mountains
That I will have to climb
And there will be battles
That I will have to fight
But victory or defeat
It’s up to me to decide
But how can I expect to win
If I never try
I just can’t give up now
I’ve come too far from where
I started from
Nobody told me
The road would be easy
And I don’t believe He’s brought me this far
To leave me

Never said there wouldn’t be trials
Never said I wouldn’t fall
Never said that everything would go
The way I want it to go
But when my back is against the wall
And I feel all hope is gone
I’ll just lift my head up to the sky
And say help me to be strong, oh

Oh, I know You didn’t bring me
Out here to leave me lonely, oh no
Even when I can’t see clearly
I know that You are with me so I can’t

I hope that you are encouraged by this.

Lastly, remember that God is with you every step of the way and His grace really is sufficient for you.

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)

Love and Blessings,
